Pricing Tiers

What's the difference between each tier?

Hobbyist (FREE):

  • DIY scripts and documentation
  • Build your own device
  • Build your own microSD golden master boot drive
  • Community support only
  • For tech-savvy users

Bare Bones:

  • Pre-configured microSD cards that are ready to be inserted into a new or existing Raspberry Pi board
  • Easiest to implement if you have an existing Pi
  • Insert the microSD card, boot, and you're ready in < 5 minutes!
  • Email support (48hr response)

Solo or Field:

  • If you desire a pre-made RKPi5 including the Pi5, microSD cards, and power bank
  • Contact us to discuss a private arrangement
  • The RKPi5 is not available to purchase, it is free

Can I upgrade from one tier to another?

Upgrade Scope

Every tier runs the same RKPi5 software.

Configuration Upgrades:

  • The difference in tiers is handled by purchasing additonal optional components
  • Purchase a battery pack to run the RKPi5 in a backpack or on the run
  • Purchase a solar panel system to keep the battery pack topped off
  • Purchase a touch screen display panel and connect it to the Pi
  • Purchase speakers to make the video or audio available for others to see or hear
